Facility Management

Facility Management

The Facility Management module of P3 LogiQ is an essential tool for managing multiple facilities under the scope of ISO certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2, and RIOS. This module helps determine whether the certification scope for your company will be classified as single-site, campus, or multi-site, based on the number of facilities and their functions. Below is a step-by-step guide to using this module.

Step 1: Access the Facility Management Module

  1. Log in to your P3 LogiQ account.
  2. Navigate to the Facility Management module.

Step 2: Add a New Facility

  1. Once inside the module, click on the “Add Facility” button.

  2. Enter the required details for the facility:

    • Facility name
    • Location (address or region)
    • Number of shifts
    • Facility size
    • Internal audit frequency
    • Facility inspection frequency
  3. If you have multiple facilities to add, repeat this process for each one.

Step 3: Define the Certification Scheme

P3 LogiQ will use the number of facilities and their functions to determine the scope of certification. Here's how to proceed:

  1. Determine the scope of each facility:

    • After adding all your facilities, you will need to define whether they perform the same or different functions.
  2. Toggle the “Does each facility perform the same function?” option:

    • If all facilities perform the same function, enable the toggle that indicates multi-site certification.
    • If the facilities have different functions, leave the toggle off. This will default to a campus site certification.

Step 4: Determine the Certification Type

Based on the number of facilities added and their scope of operation, P3 LogiQ will automatically determine the certification type:

  • Single-Site Certification:

    • If you add only one facility, the system will classify it as a single-site certification automatically.
  • Multi-Site Certification:

    • If you have multiple facilities, and you toggle the option that indicates they perform the same function, the system will classify it as a multi-site certification.
  • Campus Site Certification:

    • If you add multiple facilities, but they perform different functions (and you leave the toggle off), the system will classify it as a campus certification.

Step 5: Review the Facility Summary

  1. Once you've entered all facility details and selected the appropriate scope options, review the summary of your facilities.

  2. The system will display whether your company falls under single-site, multi-site, or campus certification, based on your entries.

Tips for Using the Facility Management Module

  • Be Clear About Functions: Understanding whether your facilities perform the same or different functions is critical in determining whether you will be classified as a multi-site or campus certification.

  • Regular Updates: If your company adds or removes facilities, or changes the scope of work at an existing facility, ensure you update the Facility Management module to keep your certification current.
