1. Overview

The Action Planning module in P3 LogiQ allows companies to track and manage compliance requirements not automatically tracked elsewhere in the platform. This includes tasks like OSHA logs, safety meetings, or other recurring compliance needs for standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2, and RIOS.

This module helps organizations:

  • Centralize compliance activities

  • Assign responsibility

  • Track due dates and completions

  • Maintain audit readiness

2. Adding a Requirement

To create a new tracked action:

  1. Navigate to the Action Planning module in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Click the “Add Requirement” button.

  3. Fill in the fields:

    • Name – e.g., “OSHA 300 Log”

    • Frequency – Annually, Quarterly, Monthly, etc.

    • Responsible Person – The employee responsible for ensuring completion

  4. Click Submit to save.

This requirement will now appear in your list with its corresponding due date based on the set frequency.

3. Tracking and Editing Requirements

From the main Action Planning screen:

  • You’ll see each requirement listed with:

    • Frequency

    • Responsible Person

    • Last Completed Date

    • Next Due Date

To edit:

  • Click the Edit button to update the name, frequency, or responsible person.

To delete, click the red Delete button.

To update history, click History, where you can view or manually update completion events.

4. Reviewing Historical Completion Data

Click History for any requirement to view a complete log:

  • See past entries marked as Scheduled or Completed

  • View who completed it and on what date

  • Use “Mark as Complete” to manually log a completed task

This is especially helpful for showing auditors a full historical record of compliance actions.

5. Best Practices

  • Use for everything not automated – Any compliance requirement you want to track that doesn’t have its own module in P3 LogiQ (e.g., OSHA 300, fire drills, environmental testing).

  • Assign real responsibility – Always assign a specific person for accountability.

  • Review regularly – Monitor due dates and completion status monthly to ensure nothing is missed.

  • Use History for audit trails – Keep clean, updated logs to simplify audit preparation and demonstrate conformance.

Conclusion

The Action Planning module replaces the older System Calendar functionality with a more structured and flexible tool for tracking ongoing requirements. By consolidating your non-automated compliance actions in this module, your organization will maintain complete visibility, accountability, and compliance.

This module ensures that no task falls through the cracks—keeping your organization audit-ready, all year long.
