Applicable Appendices

The Applicable Appendices (R2 Only) module in P3 LogiQ allows companies to add and manage the applicable appendices for each facility that is seeking R2 certification. R2 certification requires compliance with all R2 Core Requirements, but companies only need to be certified to the R2 process requirements (appendices) that are applicable to their operations.

This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide to effectively using the Applicable Appendices module in P3 LogiQ.


Step 1: Access the Applicable Appendices Module

  1. Log in to your P3 LogiQ account.
  2. Navigate to the Scope section and select the Applicable Appendices (R2 Only) module.

Step 2: Adding an Appendix

  1. Click on the "Add Appendix" button at the top-right corner of the module.

  2. In the Add Appendix pop-up form, fill in the following details:

    • Facility: Select the relevant facility from the dropdown menu (e.g., Paradise, Sunrise, Utopia, etc.).
    • Appendix: Select the appropriate appendix that applies to the selected facility. The appendix options include:
      • Appendix A: Downstream Recycling Chain
      • Appendix B: Logical Data Sanitization and Physical Destruction
      • Appendix C: Test
      • Appendix E: Materials Recovery
  3. After selecting both fields, click Submit to add the appendix to the facility.


Step 3: Viewing Existing Appendices

Once appendices have been added, the module will display a list of all applicable appendices for each facility. The list includes the following details:

  • Facility Name: The name(s) of the facility or facilities where the appendix is applicable.
  • Appendix Name: The name of the R2 appendix that applies to the facility (e.g., Appendix A - Downstream Recycling Chain).
  • Actions: Options to either Edit or Delete the appendix.

Step 4: Editing or Deleting an Appendix

If you need to modify or remove an appendix, follow these steps:

  • Edit an Appendix:

    1. Click the Edit button next to the appendix you want to modify.
    2. In the edit window, you can change the facility or appendix and then click Save to update.
  • Delete an Appendix:

    1. Click the Delete button next to the appendix you want to remove.
    2. Confirm the action in the pop-up dialog to permanently remove the appendix from the system.

Step 5: Searching for an Appendix

At the top-right of the module, there is a Search bar where you can enter keywords to quickly find specific appendices by facility or appendix name. This is useful when managing several appendices across different facilities.


Step 6: Syncing the List of Appendices

To ensure the list of appendices is up to date, click the Sync button located at the top of the module. This will refresh the page and ensure any recent changes are reflected.

  • Accurate Selection: Ensure that the correct appendices are selected for each facility, based on the processes that are relevant to your company's R2 certification.

  • Regular Updates: Review and update the list of appendices regularly to reflect any changes in your operations or facilities that might affect which appendices apply.

  • Compliance Focus: Always ensure that your company meets all R2 Core Requirements and is certified to the relevant appendices that are applicable to your operations.
