Scope

The Scope Module in P3 LogiQ is designed for companies to define the scope of certification for each facility and identify the applicable ISO standards or certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2, and/or RIOS. This module also allows users to indicate the main scope for the headquarters. Below is a step-by-step guide to using the Scope Module effectively.

Step 1: Access the Scope Module

  1. Log in to your P3 LogiQ account.
  2. Navigate to the Scope section.

Once you are in the Scope module, you will see a list of existing scopes for each facility, along with details like the scope name, facility name, standards, scope type, and created date, as shown in the screenshot.

Step 2: Add a New Scope

  1. Click the "Add Scope" button at the top-right of the module.

  2. A form will appear, prompting you to input the following fields:

    • Scope Name: Enter a description or name for the scope (e.g., “Downstream Vendor Management of Used Electronics”).
    • Facility: From the dropdown, select the facility that the scope applies to (e.g., “Paradise,” “Utopia,” etc.).
    • Standard: Select the applicable standards by clicking the relevant boxes (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, R2).
    • Main Scope for Headquarters: If this scope applies to the main headquarters of your company, check the box that says “Is this the main scope considered for headquarters?”.
  3. Once all fields are complete, click Submit to save the new scope.

Step 3: Viewing Existing Scopes

After you’ve added a scope, it will appear in the main Scope list, displaying the following information:

  • Scope Name: The descriptive name you entered.
  • Facility Name: The name of the facility or facilities linked to this scope.
  • Standard: The standards associated with the scope (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
  • Scope Type: Whether it is the main scope or associated with a specific facility.
  • Created Date: The date the scope was added to the system.

Step 4: Editing or Deleting a Scope

To modify or remove an existing scope, use the Edit or Delete buttons in the Actions column.

  • Edit Scope: If you need to make changes to the existing scope, click Edit and update the necessary fields (scope name, facility, standards, etc.). Once the changes are made, click Save.

  • Delete Scope: To permanently remove a scope, click Delete and confirm the action in the pop-up dialog.

Step 5: Searching for a Specific Scope

At the top-right of the Scope module is a Search bar. You can use this tool to quickly find specific scopes by entering keywords from the scope name, facility, or standard.

Step 6: Syncing Data

To ensure the data is up-to-date, click the Sync button at the top of the module. This refreshes the list and ensures that any recent changes are reflected in the scope overview.
